When attempting to link plex on my TV to my Computer, the codes given on the TV are not acceptable on the Computer. Eg. When entering a pin of 9D7G that was given on my TV, the app on my PC will only allow me to enter numerical digits. Not letters. It worked previously, but any time there is an update to Plex, this happens. Please help me to solve this issue.
That PIN only works for Link | Plex so that you don’t have to type in your email address/username and password on the app. You should see that URL on the screen of the app on your TV.
The numerical only PIN you are referring to is the PIN you created as an extra security measure to prevent other users from accessing your account on the various devices.
