Hmm, I’ll get the 2018 model checked again, but thanks for the information! At the moment, we suspect it’s hardware related to the chipset in those models, however, it’s unclear how much we’ll be able to do if it’s a hardware / firmware issue 
I have Kodi installed with the Plex add-on, is it worth me testing it in Kodi?

We’ve checked across a few models, and it only seems to happen with certain TVs from certain years. We think it’s to do with the chipset inside the Sony TVs, and how they process the image, so we’re a bit blocked here, as it’s directly related to a specific piece of hardware in only some Sony models.
It didn’t use to happen with Plex though - it just started about when I started this thread.
Also - is the fact that it works ok in Kodi of no help?
