Play/Pause Button from On Deck doesn't work

I have a generic PC Remote for my Rasplex

I purchased this only for the USB Infrared receiver and use my Logitech Harmony Remote (using manufacturer 'Chinavasion' and model 'CVSN-983)

Everything works great except... the issue I have is that the Play and Pause buttons are a combined button - which I think Rasplex is receiving as just a Pause.

This means you cannot press Play from an item On Deck and have it play - you have to press Select to open it, and then Press Select again on the Play icon, which can take some time...

Any ideas on how I can get around this?

Thanks

I also have this problem, no work around apart from trying a different remote with separate play and pause buttons, there are loads for sale on eBay for next to nothing.

If you're using a Logitech Harmony remote, simply change the device profile. My Harmony sends keyboard commands that I set up per the PHT controls. Just using a generic Windows Media Center setup would likely be sufficient.

Thanks for the reply - I finally got round to trying this but haven't been able to get it to work yet...

I tried a generic "Windows MCE keyboard" but nothing works at all...

What device should I be adding to the Harmony software?
