First Device ( with downloaded content) = iPhone XS with Plex 6.5 (18908)
Second Device (without downloaded content) = iPad Pro with Plex 6.5 (18908)
Hi,
i try to play a synced movie or tv show from the first device to the second device. Both Apps crashes. Here are the tests that i ´ve made.
There are a few ways to start the media. Both device are able to browse the content from each other and both devices are alowed to work as a remote for the other one.
First Way:
Start the media from the first device via remote to play the video on the second device. Both devices are in the same network and internet is available.
Result:
The video starts playing. After a few seconds the plex app on the first device crashes. the video will play on the second device a little bit longer and stops then.
Second Way:
Start the media from the first device via remote to play the video on the second device. Both devices are in the same network and internet isn´t available.
Result:
The video starts playing. After a few seconds the plex app on the first device crashes. the video will play on the second device a little bit longer and stops then. In my mind there is no difference betwen the first way.
Third Way:
Start the media from the second device. In this case i choose the first device as source. Both devices are in the same network and internet is available.
Result:
The video starts playing. After a little bit longer time, the plex app on the first device crashes. the video will play on the second device a little bit longer and stops then.
Fourth Way:
Start the media from the second device. In this case i choose the first device as source. Both devices are in the same network and internet isn´t available.
Result:
The video starts playing. After a little bit longer time, the plex app on the first device crashes. the video will play on the second device a little bit longer and stops then. In my mind this option works the longest time before the first device crashes.
