How can it be a bug, if nothing was ever implemented in that regard?
Because thats what playlists are , and atm it works broken , its just a user generated list of files ;)....I think that most would agree thats what they want from a playlist , stick in on , and it plays untill you tell it to stop , add a randomise feature while your at it , please thankyou .....hehe
I think the biggest issue here is going to be implementing this. There is no other ios channels (apps) that I know of that have this feature. Yes you can do it on other devices but they are very different then the Apple TV (ios) and PlexConnect and how they both work together to provide content on our atvs. Just try to be patient while the developers look into this. I have seen them do amazing things with myplex, the atv2 and local and shared libraries just to name a few. If it can be done im sure they will figure out a way. Not everything is just simply done. Beating up topics about something isn’t going to get it done faster. Unless you want to suggest useful opinions on how to have playlist shown or how to implement it into the main code (pull request) please refrain from those types of posts. I’m sure the developers know what a playlist is and how it’s supposed to work.

I thought that the Netflix app on the ATV did it (Based on something I read on this forum), but I agree be patient and it will come, otherwise get your hands dirty and start a fork and develop it yourself.
Jesus that was fast. Working here very cool, laziness activated
-edit I spoke to soon. I added 172 episodes of a show and broke a playlist, Oops. The first playlist still works but the 172 is definitely broken. I added another show with 176 episodes and it works. Added a few more playlists and all work but the 172 episodes. I will try to figure out which episode(s) are the culprit in that particular playlist.
Found it. Some credits stuff was in the tv show in question Looking further…multiple files labeled in this way caused the issue:

Is this an issue with aTV/PlexConnect only or does it show on other devices as well?
PlexConnect only seems if you change the name of an item to “00.00 something.mp4” it breaks the playlist. Strange thing is that it didn’t break the library tab.
Nothing showed up out of the normal on Nomal so I set it to High. The playlist is called season 1. The error I see is iMovie theater is unavailable only using that playlist with that particular season with that odd ball naming convention. They were hiding in a folder but everything else I believe was named properly like S01E01 etc.

Wahlman.j,
I haven't tried to reproduce this yet... but "specials" are usually collected as "Season 0" rather than "Episode 0" - that at least is my understanding.
The issue might be that iOS/TVShow metadata processor doesn't understand the equalling 0.
Another creepy issue as you can see in your log: Those special "Episode 0"s are packed into one video, making up several structures, that usually represent one and the same video in different files (eg. two codecs, several resolutions...).
I am not sure if/how they will be accessible on other clients - in PlexConnect for sure you wouldn't have access, only get the first one there.
Stupid question, but I cant seem to find where playlists are shown within plexconnect, I can set them up on the PMS, but within Plexconnect I cannot see where they show. I downloaded the Latest Plexconnect this morning, but still cant find it, where should I be looking?
