Is there any way to 'play to' a connected/active Plex Device? I've grown accustomed to sending Movies to my kids Bedroom using Windows play to option, and would LOVE to be able to do it with PLEX!
Also, TOP MARKS on a FANTASTIC Media Server!!! With 6 Kids, managing a Library of Movies is Sooo much easier now! *8vD
I assume you’re talking about the windows 7/8 feature of play to (though generally 8 now). Currently not supported by the Win8 Metro app. mfeingold addressed it here: https://forums.plexapp.com/index.php/topic/87178-plex-play-to-windows-8-app/
Alternatively to you, I’d suggest becoming familiar with the remote control feature of the Windows 8 Metro app. They’ve done a fantastic job with it in the new release and its not only become more reliable but also more usable.
you should be able to do this from the Plex/Web, provided the client supports remote features. I think roku was the last hold out and the most recent update fixed it.
