Playback 'bong'/notification sound when playing or pausing any media type

Everytime I press play or pause on any media type I get a ‘bong’ notification type sound. Only in Plex, not other media playback apps. Can it be disabled?

This happened with my older Huawei Honor phone and also happens with my Sony Xperia.

I’ve never heard of such a thing. I’ll need to ask if others have run into this.

This is playing via the phone speaker or are you using headphones? I ask because a quick google search yielded this about Bose headphones Reddit - Dive into anything

There’s a notification type for playback in the settings. Disable it.

Yes that box is not checked.

It happens on both speakers and headphones and will streamed or downloaded content.

I will see if I can share a video of it also.
