Playback Crashes When Switching Between WI-FI and Cellular

While streaming a video from a Plex server in the newly-released iOS app, video playback is interrupted and any playback process is lost when switching between WI-FI and cellular internet connections.

Reproduction steps:

  1. Open the Plex app on iOS and start playback of a video streamed from a Plex server.
  2. While the video is playing, toggle your WI-FI connection and observe the crashes that occur when switching between WI-FI and cellular.
