I noticed something odd while testing playback of the same file on two identical roku tvs. The plex app version and all settings are exactly the same. The two tvs are on the same vlan and are using the pms on a different vlan. However, one tv is connected wirelessly to an access point that is served by a wireless bridge from my house to my son’s house.
The wireless bridge maintains enough bandwidth (65-90Mbps) to watch netflix, or online game on a pc and watch 4k hdr movies on the roku tv simultaneously without buffering.
My question is: why wouldn’t the “remote” tv be using Direct Play like the local tv?
