Playback ends, but still shows as "now playing"

When I play music on my nVidia Shield, the “Now playing” icon never goes away when the playback finishes. It also shows as still playing in the Plex Web dashboard. I have to manually open the player control and hit ‘stop.’ This happens whether it’s a playlist, an album, or a single track.

I thought I reported this before, but I can’t find it. It’s been going on for a while now.
