When I start playing a music playlist, the Now Playing display (album cover, artist name, track name, album name, rating) stays stuck on the first track that plays. When I bring up the player controls, everything’s fine, it’s showing the current playing track.
If I keep the music playing for long enough, the Now Playing display will eventually randomly switch to another track that played previously and stays stuck there.
Music playback’s not getting affected in any way.
I have 3 Shields, 2 different models, and it does that on all of them. Been doing that for the past 4-5 days maybe.
PMS and player are both up to date.
I have the same thing happening here today after updating the Plex app yesterday on my TCL Google TV.
Shows album art and song info for 1st song played, then doesn’t update song info after that. Music keeps playing for another few songs, but eventually that stops, too. Really frustrating since that’s my main music player on the living room system.
Works properly with the Roku Ultra, Windows, and Plexamp. Solely a Google TV app problem apparently.
