Playback Error when trying to play anything

So last week after an update went out a couple of friends who use my Plex had issues playing anything on their Samsung Tizen TV, PS5 and iOS device - getting the message on the first 2 devices ‘Playback error - an unexpected playback problem occurred’ On the iOS device it said the CPU was not strong. enough to transcode - which never happened before.
We managed to fix the issue on their devices by turning transcoding off and having them stream things in original quality.
I have just tried using a tv in our second bedroom which doesn’t get used a lot and getting the same ‘playback error’ issue when trying to play anything - This time I have tried turning settings to maximum but it has not worked. The TV is a Panasonic Oled and I know its app sometimes gets forgotten about - anyone else having issues on devices in last week or so?

We all want smooth playback, and every iOS device built recently is powerful enough to do so. Let’s guess because of the broad set of failures that it’s server related or network related.

What server version are you running? What hardware?

You can downgrade to a previous version using the same exact procedure you use to upgrade. You can see if the problem goes away. We can head toward server logs and a player log from the iOS device.

I’ve seen a few topics about apps not responding, but not with your error. Searching should get you some hits if it’s a thing,
