When playing videos from my PC,no matter the playing length,they play perfectly until the last 10mins or so then I get the revolving circle which indicates a Playback Error is about to happen.Using my TV remote to stop playing then restart allows me to continue but this can happen again and is spoiling an otherwise excellent experience.
You might want to take a look at the “Plex HTPC” app from the download page. Plex Media Player hasn’t been updated in 2+ years and was officially discontinued some months ago.
I suppose we were talking about different things… reading your OP, I interpreted you were using a PC connected to the TV with a Plex client app – not a smart tv app. The HTPC app is an application to run on a PC that gives you a “big screen” experience (as opposed to a regular desktop client).
What specific version of the Plex App are you running on your Samsung TV? I assume this is a 2016 or newer Tizen model?
