Playback fails on FreeNAS (Live TV and Recordings)

Server Version#: Tried both 1.18.2.2058 and 1.18.3.2129
Player Version#: 4.8.4

FreeNAS Version#: 11.2-U7

Recently I had to upgrade my FreeNAS server from 11.1-U7 to 11.2-U7, and in doing this I had to reinstall plex, because FreeNAS changed how jails are managed between versions. However, after reinstalling Plex, playback does not seem to work through the web app and the iOS app and the android app. I just get the spinning, waiting to load icon. This happens both when I am on the same network and when I am remotely connected. I have tried installing Plex through both the built-in FreeNAS plugin manager and by manually creating a jail and then using the FreeBSD pkg tool to install Plex. I have tried both Plex versions 1.18.2.2058 and 1.18.3.2129 that are available in the FreeBSD repositories. Additionally, I have tried changing the permissions on the mount point that Plex stores its recordings, to no avail. This occurs both when playing live TV from a HDHomeRun tuner and when playing back recordings that my previous Plex installation made. I am able to play live tv by having VLC directly connect to the tuner.

Hum can you upload/DM a sample of one of those “ts” files so I Can see what happens on my side?

just got you’re sample and it plays fine for me from a FreeBSD iocage jail:

I am however on a more recent version, let me go back to 1.18.2 and check it again

Ok testing now with PMS 1.18.3.2129, when you say Player Version#: 4.8.4 which client?

Since you mentioned more clients, and the fact that livetv also fails I wonder if there’s some network issue, is this the only cause where it fails? Or do other files play fine?
