Playback frame skipping - Audio Sync Issue

Hi, not sure if anyone can help, but i have PMP running on the same machine as the PMS.
When playing video though the PMP is drops frames on a regular basis and by about 20 mins in the audio drifts out of sync.
This only happens on the server through PMP, all other devices accessing the server have no issues.

anyone have any ideas how to resolve? - i’ve tried taking out direct play and thats not done a thing.

Ok just read the whole thread, YES!
My PMP Windows 10 is dropping frames and going out of sync and has done for quite some time now.

Ive been working around it by using a firestick to watch anything through… seems stupid but the PMP Win10 is just pointless at the momoent.

Yep, it is very very frustrating.

I have some extra add-ins that I use in conjunction with PMP on my Windows 10 HTPC, so switching platforms is not an option. Plus, I don’t think the firestick copes with recorded TV files here in the UK very well.

The workaround is to use an old version of PMP before they broke the sync: display mode.
