When playing media, sometimes it will play audio but provide a pink screen. Other times it plays - fine. Any suggestions? Could it be specific to the Media type (Although I think 90% of my files are MKV.

I have tested MKV, AVI, TS, MPEG, MP4 files. All are truely intermittent. I have successfully played all the files. However, I have also had the full PINK Screen with audio on each file type. It is hard to be sure the root cause. Once it happens, it seems to happen on all file times until a reboot. Also, I have seen no less than 4-5 Plex crashes in the past two days as well, where it does a hard shutdown with a note to Apple. I restart and have the above experience (Sometimes plays, sometimes Full Screen Pink w/Audio).
I also get the full Pink Screen when playing Live material, not just my media files. It has to be something with the Player SW, or possibly my HW? Any suggestion where to start troubleshooting. I need my Plex!
@jbryngelson- I have the same setup and just started experiencing this problem. Both with regular plex app and Plex HTPC app.
It seems sometimes I can get things to play fine, but if I pause or change subtitles, it will error and then usually crash. I have been getting constant crashes when just opening the app as well.
Seems to affect all media no matter the file type and if I am playing from direct server or remote server.
Very frustrating, basically Plex is unusable right now and I’m using VLC Player for now.
Hoping for a fix soon.
