I have a plex pass. My aunt who watches off my server has an ipad. She bought the ios app through apple app store for $4.99 about a year ago. It is now limiting her playback and when she goes to the activate button she gets that there is no recognition of her ever buying it. So is the best thing to do is to buy it all over again. It’s only $4.99 so it is not a big deal. One thing she told me was that once she got the movie she wants to watch she can cast it to her tv with chromecast and it plays just fine without any playback limit but if she tries to just watch it on her ipad she get the Playback limit warning.
