Playback problem

What does this mean?
Something went wrong playing your media. Please try again. Could not direct play because: App cannot direct play this item. No direct play video profile exist for protocol http, with container mkv, and video codec h264. Could not transcode because: Not enough bandwidth for playback of this item. Cannot convert to below minimum bandwidth of 103kbps. Nobody else is using the server but me, remotely.

What app/client are you using for play back?

What are the specs of the video? (1920x1080? Audio Codec? (Pasting the video’s XML file might be a good idea))

What do you have your bandwidth set at on the server? (Settings>Remote Access>Internet Upload Speed)

What are the specs of your server?
What server version Number?

Server version is the latest. App is the iOS v6.4 (18577). Im not sure about my server settings as I am in a remote area and can’t check it from my computer at home.

From a remote computer (It might work from your iOS browser as well) should still allow you to check it out and manage the server…

Basically, since I started using plex, this is the first time it happened and most of my files are 720p. Some 1080p, but not much. This one isnt 1080p.

I checked. Streaming quality set at 1.5mbps 480p. Then everything else is set at automatic/recommended settings. Nothing set on specific values.

np, maybe try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it… iOS doesn’t let you clear cache and data I don’t think… so that’s the only way to correct an “app” problem…
