I’m having the exact same issue started happening a couple of months ago. It doesn’t seem to matter what the media is, even live TV. I haven’t tried reverting to the old player. PMS Version 1.20.2.3370 with the latest AppleTV app.

Well this is steadily getting worse with each update. So frustrating.

@stridemat thanks for sharing your video. Again, mine is doing the -exact- same thing and the stuttering seems to be getting worse and longer as each day goes by.

I too am noticing pretty annoying stutter when watching broadcast 1080i29.97 video on Apple TV in direct playback. NVIDIA, PC, and Roku direct plays fine. I have Apple TV set to match frame rate and content in its settings (things are about unwatchable without that on).

Got the same thing going on. Just don’t know if it’s related to dropped frames or not.

I’ve been seeing this on Xbox One with direct stream. Really irritating with pans.
