I have been a very happy plex user for a little over a year now. My sister bought us some Pokemon DVDs which I have dutifully added but she would like to watch at 1.5x-2x as is her preference. She has in turn paid the £5 or so to activate the plex app on her iPad as she is not part of my “home”. She has however no option in playback settings to change the playback speed. I have it on my phone, as do my wife and children. My sister reports that he does indeed have it in the web browser as an option but would prefer the app.
Thank you for your response. Whilst this answers my question it is, never the less, disappointing that we had to find it out after paying for the use of the app.
My feedback to the devs would be to reconsider this functionality or to make it extremely clear on the app store description what is and isn’t included in the in-app purchase as we didn’t see it there. This isn’t something my sister considers worth paying for a plex pass so is just resorting to using the browser based player.
