I purchased plex pass during the sale at the end of 2023 to watch videos on my PC from iPad
And I found that plex somehow couldn’t change playback speed which is a common feature Nowadays. And It’s a MUST for me !!!
1.How could I change playback speed?
(I know Chrome extension can change the playback speed on PC.But for IOS it’s not work!)
2. If there is no way to change the playback speed, how could I get a refund?
On iOS, the Plex app doesn’t let you change playback speed, but you can do it in Plex Web on iOS. Alternatively, you can use third-party players like Infuse with Plex, and they support playback speed control. Just keep in mind that Plex’s own iOS app doesn’t have this feature for now.
I also tried plex web player on my ipad. There is no playback speed option samely as pc.
But in pc I can use chrome extension to change which is not avaiable on ipad.

When you’re watching videos on Plex Web in fullscreen mode on your iPhone or iPad, tapping the screen brings up the iOS system playback interface instead of Plex’s.
This way, you can access playback speed and subtitle controls by tapping the button in the bottom right corner. This lets you choose subtitles or adjust the playback speed.
For PC, in addition to the Chrome extension, you can also implement speed control on the PC‘s Plex client using the script below.
