Playback stops on Plex for LG and Plex for Samsung

Server Version#: 1.18.4.2171

Since upgrade to 1.18.4.2171 on the server, I have two family member that complain or playback issues when on their Smart TV. Behaviour is the following:
Start a TVShow… after 10 to 20min Playback stops.

Sometimes with an error: “There was a problem playing this item. The video did not start playing in time.” With a message box and the option to go back.
Sometimes no error. And all they need to do is to restart the playback and it will continue.
Then again after 10-20min…same thing.

For now only people on Smart TV seem to have the issue.
I’m trying to understand where to start looking to identify the cause.

I have the exact same problem. Everything was working fine until two days ago.

Samsung ks8000 TV was on latest version. Server was not, so I tried updating server but problem i still there.

Happens on all videos, UHD, HD and SD. Starts fine and stops after 7 to 20 minutes into playback.

Installed Emby for the first time and it works perfectly. So the issue is definately plex related.

Any update or news on this issue?

My problems have been solved with version 4.21.2 for the smart TV

My Samsung Smart TV doesnt seem to have that version available
Is there a way to force update?

Helder74 I see you have confirmed your App version in another Discussion as already being 4.21.2 by checking your server settings /authorized devices

The issue still exists… and on settings /authorized devices I don’t see the SmartTV’s listed.
Only see Android, Other, Server and Web…

This is why I’m confused now, on where I checked the version.
