Playback while recording in-progress

Hello,
Apologies if this has been asked already.

I was wondering if it was possible to begin watching a recorded show an hour into it, or do I need to wait until recording has completed to begin watching the show?

For example, a show I watch every week is being from from 10PM EST to 8PM EST and I probably wouldn’t be able to start watching until 9. Can I start watching from the beginning at 9, or do I need to wait until the recording finishes at 10PM?

Not yet. Based on some comments made by plex employees, it’s coming. However, plex never tell release date. You are not alone waiting for this feature. Hopefully it will be sonner rather than later.

Gahhhh… I can’t wait for this, football season is here and this is what DVR is all about, skipping through the commercials!!!
