Player App/Platform Consistency

Would it be possible to make the app interfaces consistent across platforms…?
For instance I have both Apple TV and Android TV’s in our home.

There are features missing from the Apple TV that are on the Android and and vice versa.

For instance the Apple TV has a better login interface showing more of the users at one time. On the Android however the settings interface is much nicer and more intuitive.

Also on Android, the ability to jump to the next or previous file in a queue of a series while watching is present, while missing on the AppleTV… so, on AppleTV, you have to exit the show and go find the next episode…

It just seems to me that taking the time to employ collaboration such as to input the best features of each interface design, and making them consistent, would provide an overall preferable experience.

It’s still a work in progress, but our new UNO UI should unify the experience across all TV client, and all mobile clients. There might still be some platform things to consider where things may be different (such as how out of place the Android Player UI would look on Apple TV, and vice versa), but overall, we’re moving towards everything being the same, or very, very, very similar. It just takes time to update every screen on every client :slight_smile:
