I’m running Plex 1.9.4.4325 in my Ubuntu 16.10. All channels on my HDHomeRun Dual and Connect record without issue and play on the media player without issue.
I can watch all channels without issue through the web browser interface.
I can also DVR any channels without issue, including my local fox channel.
I can watch all channels on my ShieldTV (hardwired) without issue except for the local fox channel, which happens to also be the lowest channel number. When I attempt to play that channel I get “An error occurred while attempting to play this video. Please try restarting both the Plex Media Server and this app.”
I can watch all channels on my android phone also without issue over wifi except for the local fox channel as well. It also gets the same error.
I can watch all channels on my iPhone also without issue over wifi except for the local fox channel as well. It gets this error, “Couldn’t create the playback session for this item”
No amount of rebooting server or devices helps.
Anyone else having an issue like this? It doesn’t seem like it’s a server problem because it records and the web browser interface on a different computer play the live channel fine.
