Player resizing does not work properly with wide screens

I have an extra wide monitor (32:9) plus a laptop screen (16:9). When I snap plex to one-half of my 32:9 monitor the player thinks that the screen has an entirely different size. So the plex window did snap to half of the wide monitor but the player assumes the plex window has an entirely different size such that the pause button shows not in the middle of the plex window and the playback bar also thinks the plex window is a different size.

If I move the plex windows to my laptop screen everything is correct again.
