I would like to be able to show live albums and Eps in grid view, the same as you can view regular albums in my music library on the artist page. There are some artists where I have 50+ live albums and it is a pain to have to click through pages of albums instead of being able to view them all in a grid like you can with regular albums. It seems like this should be a relatively simple UI fix. If you can separate artist music libraries into albums, live albums, single, EPs, etc, you should also be able to view all of those groups as a grid as is the default for regular albums.
I’m not 100% sure if I understand your suggestion correctly…
Do you want to display all release/album types in the same grid/list or do you want to see each section to have its own grid (regular grid for regular albums, additional grid for singles/eps, additional grid for compilations, additional grid for live albums/concerts…)?
You should already be able to achieve the first, by disabling Settings > [Server Name] > Library > Group albums by type.
There’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option to show regular grids for the other sub-types (instead of displaying them individually in a single horizontal row.
I was talking about each section having its own grid.
