Player UI update to show live albums, EP, compilations etc in grid view like regular albums

I’m not 100% sure if I understand your suggestion correctly…
Do you want to display all release/album types in the same grid/list or do you want to see each section to have its own grid (regular grid for regular albums, additional grid for singles/eps, additional grid for compilations, additional grid for live albums/concerts…)?

You should already be able to achieve the first, by disabling Settings > [Server Name] > Library > Group albums by type.

There’s already an existing suggestion discussing an option to show regular grids for the other sub-types (instead of displaying them individually in a single horizontal row.

Option to not use side-scrolling for album/music sub-types

Any chance Plex Web could gain an option to not be forced to use side-scrolling for sub-groups? If you use the “Group Albums by Type” option, Plex Web displays the full, normal albums in a cascading collection of either covers or details, depending on which you choose, but all other classifications are forced to be viewed by side-scrolling.
