Playing 4K 7.1 sound content on Roku 4K player issue

Hi,

I have the most recent releases of plex server and plex app on Roku 4K connected to a 4K tv with stereo speakers.

When I try and play a 4K file with 7.1 sound the plex server transcodes it to 1080p with stereo sound.

I would have assumed it would play the native 4K content but just transcode the 7.1 sound down to stereo.

If I force direct play it’ll play the 4K content and 7.1 sound out of my stereo speaker (I know not ideal, but it works)

An I missing something ??
