can someone point me in the right direction here? I cant play MP3 files when in folder view. I tried the web client and the IOS client and it just doesnt work. For the Web client, I have to click on the actual file first, then from there I can play the song. on IOS, I have to press on the song then I have the option to press the play button, which then it works. is this by design or am I doing something wrong here? Seems extremely inconvenient and convoluted for something as sophisticated as plex, especially when other media servers can do this without any issue.
I believe I figured this out. You cant use “Folder view” (I’m assuming because, well, these files are not folders…) instead, find “List view” in the upper right then once selected, there is a drop down in the left and select “Tracks”. this provided me the same output that I was looking for with Folder view. hope this helps
