View/Browse music by original folder structure

Often, mp3 files have not been tagged correctly and PLEX is totally reliant on the tags being spot on for albums to appear correctly. On a now defunct media player platform ‘Popcorn Hour A500’ They developed their own PLEX client which enabled the user to browse their content by folders. Yes, PLEX can browse by folders, but it displays them as square icons, not as a nice neat list as windows file manager/explorer does. In the Popcorn hour PLEX client I had my album folders displayed on the left of screen. Clicking down the list would display the associated album artwork for the first track on the right of screen. Clicking on each folder would open up the folder and display the actual contents with options to play. Sadly I am unable to include a screen capture of what the screen looked like since my box no longer works, but ive found one online which is similar.

I suppose what you describe is included in this existing feature suggestion

If so, I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting/dispersing votes by having competing “duplicate” threads.

No, it’s quiet different although even that would be an improvement. I’m suggesting the ability to browse music by the original folder structure but still display album artwork on the side of the screen as per the screen shot.
