So here is my problem. I have a folder with TV Shows and a folder with Movies. I want to create a playlist that includes both, is that possible in Plex? I am able to create a playlist of just Movies and just TV Shows but I see nothing in the way of adding to a playlist already created or anyway this could be done.
Any help would be appreciated.
This is possible. But from tv show libraries, you can only add episodes, not whole seasons or even whole tv shows.
And the playlist must be a ‘dumb’ playlist. (it must not have a ‘cog wheel’ icon on its poster)
Seconds after posting this I found a work around. I just created a new library in which I mixed both folders from the “Add Folder” option when creating a new library and labeled the new Library as “All”. Made my “All” library my playlist.
It will cost me a day of crawling for metadata and scanning but it will be well worth it. Let’s see if Plex can handle a 1000 day playlist.
