Maybe this is just how Plex works but if I create a playlist of movies on another client, I need to quite and restart OpenPHT for it to see it and list it on the home screen.
Is this normal behavior?
Working for me. But I have to go into the Playlist section and not just look at the ‘ondeck’ list that pops up on the main menu.
@benjaminwolf what do you meant by “playlist section” if I may ask? Do you mean a home screen menu item? That’s the issue I was having. If OpenPHT was running and I created a new playlist on a different device, OpenPHT doesn’t show a Playlist menu item.
But…
I created one last night in my iPhone and left OpenPHT running on my PC and by morning time the playlist menu item was there. Maybe it just take a few hours to show up?

Yes, it’s a main menu item if you have at least one playlist. OpenPHT has to poll the PMS server to get that menu item when it’s created on another client. So to trigger that poll, you need to get the main menu to refresh. I already had a playlist defined, so when I entered the section, OpenPHT requested an update from PMS and I could see the new one created on the other client.
