The Plex Player for Xbox One is great, and this issue I’m reporting is not a show-stopper, but deserves some attention. The scenario is that we play our TV shows on a Playlist. On the second item, somewhere through the video, we will “lose connection” to the server. This is actually not true, as hitting retry reconnects fine. Reconnection restarts the video, and doesn’t pick up where it left off, hence the pain-in-the-butt fast-forwarding manually back to where we were. I’ve confirmed this issue doesn’t happen on other devices, even when streaming the same playlist at different times, or different playlists at the same time. I have a feeling it’s a generic error and the default error message is the “lost connection to server” message.
This is a pretty strange issue, I haven’t seen it on the forums, apologies if it’s buried somewhere and I’ve duplicated.
