plex is constantly giving error messages wen attempting playback. This has only stared recently and its driving me mad. Often have a scenario when it plays a movie and then if u go back into it it woill not play giving the playback error message. In need of a resolution. thanks
I’ve been experiencing the same issue. Since the last update, it will start up saying that it can’t connect to my server as it appears to be offline or that there was an error with playback. Sometimes a hard reset of the xbox is required and sometimes that doesn’t even fix it. Very frustrating as the app on my phone and tablet can connect to it with no problems.

@“Asish Mehra” Stating what the error message is would be helpful as well as server logs when you get the error.
@Mrbeej Chances are the app started before you signed in to the xbox. You can hit the settings button on the app from the dashboard and select quit. The app should start normally after that. If you continue to have problems please make your own thread in the Xbox One forum.
