Playlist Sync in the Windows App

Hi,

So color me confused… I looked at https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/117485/implemented-sync-playlists/p1 which indicates that playlist sync has been implemented (across all platforms?); I use this feature in iOS regularly and had simply assumed that it exists across all clients that are capable of sync, which might have been my mistake.

So… First, is it possible to sync a playlist in Windows? Second, if so, how?
And finally, do I need to use the client out of the Windows store or get the client from the Plex website or other?

Platform is a Surface Book running Windows 10.

Thanks!

I just stumbled upon this cross-platform issue. I can sync playlists flawlessly on iOS and Android, but not on Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile. Maybe we will see it in future, but for now we are out of luck.

Still same problem in July 2018! Windows app there is no Sync of Music Playlist? Am I blind or is this still not implemented? I actually want to stop using Chrome from my laptop and make my laptop a sync’d device because of how badly the Android app is arranged.

Gah. Please revert back to old layout and what can be done about the Windows App music playlist? I switched devices happily but different features on different devices isn’t so good.

Can some one please fix the issue where you can not sync plex playlists with the windows store plex app please.

2019,02 the same issue with Windows App
