I made it thru the upgrade gauntlet, with just the empty playlist issue. I guess not an end of the world problem, but there was some time and care involved in creating them.
I think where I messed up, was after not seeing anything playing after the upgrade, I started to update the path for the music section and deleted the original link. I didn’t know at the time it was just a folder permission issue.
After re-establishing the correct link and then plex doing a complete metadata/refresh update…the playlists. had nothing in them. They are just empty. Everything else now works though.
I did backup all my 6.0 files before I did the upgrade.
Is there anyway to get the playlists from that 6.0 backup, import them into 7.0 and have them relink to the current media.
Alot to ask. Maybe time to start manually re-building playlists. Ughhh!
