Done a bit of looking (and will continue), but I am so far unable to find anything in the documentation that deals with the creation and management of playlists.
I created a playlist a while ago, and more recently learned that every single track I have in my library has somehow made it into the playlist. So, it’s pretty much useless, as a playlist anyway.
Of course, in this case, the solution would be to delete the playlist (it won’t delete the songs, will it?) and create a new one with the desired tracks or albums in it.
However, it seems to me as I investigate this that there is no way to edit an existing playlist. I can’t find any way of removing a single track (or multiple tracks) from a Playlist.
Is this just me being a blind dumb-ass, or is this functionality missing? How do others manage content, sort it for appropriate moods etc?
No, deleting a playlist won’t delete the media.
Perhaps you created a ‘smart’ Playlist. These are not editable (yet). They use whichever ‘filter’ you had activa when you created them. If you had no filter at all, then the whole library is in the playlist.
