"Please install manually" link is going to wrong version

Server Version#: 1.27.0.5849
Player Version#:

The “Please install manually” updater link no longer behaves like it used to. It seems that the plex token has now been removed, so copy/pasting the link into a terminal on a server no longer works – it downloads the public release instead of the plex pass / beta release.

The link is currently:

https://plex.tv/downloads/latest/5?channel=8&build=linux-x86_64&distro=debian&X-Plex-Token=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I am not 100% sure but it kind of seems like the download depends on a cookie now rather than the token being carried in the URL. I am able to click a link on desktop and it downloads the correct latest version.

I’ve updated my server the same way for years by right clicking the manual link and pulling the dpkg down via ssh and installing it. Is this an intentional change?
