There needs to be a way to point Plex Windows 10 Server to a specific GPU for transcoding.
My computer has a 7700K (Intel HD Graphics 630) and a Nvidia GTX 970. The Intel chip can transcode x265 HEVC, the Nvidia cannot.
Before I’m lectured on the drawbacks of 4K HEVC transcoding - that is NOT why I want this enabled. Some of my TV shows are encoded in x265 1080p. Some remote clients do not support x265, plus I limit everyone to 3Mbps 720p anyway. HEVC trancoding redlines the CPU. Manually directing hardware transcoding to the Intel HD 630 for trancoding would solve this problem.
Plex appears to use the Main GPU by default.
