So for the past few weeks, plex would at random times throughout the week, it may skip a day crash. What I found in event viewer was it pointing to

I have run sfc /scannow and dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth, I have repaired plex, checked my database. Then when none of that had worked removed music from my plex library as I was reading that was causing some crashes. Yesterday, I uninstalled plex’s latest beta 1.27.0.5849 as I read a different thread where people were discussing it being an issue as of late and installed 1.26.5797 hoping that it resolved it, till I got a text about plex being down. I looked in event viewer and saw the same crashing reason. If anyone can assist in shedding more light on the issue, it would be greatly appreciated.

My crashing has started to become repetitive so far as of this afternoon, I’m at 4 crashes pointing to the same kernel. Really hope any plex employees are looking at all of the forum posts on this and are working on the issues.

I’ve been dealing with the same issue, mine on version 1.27.0.5897. It started happening so often that I built a tool to monitor Plex and text me when it crashes. It usually crashes multiple times per day.

I just saw there’s a new version (1.27.1.5891) so maybe that will fix the problem, but for the past few weeks every update gives me hope the problem will fix and nothing has fixed it so far.

Event Viewer tells me the faulting module is also ntdll.dll.

Sadly I updated to that version this morning which seems to have intensified my crashing. I also setup Tautulli to email when plex crashes this morning is how I know the count. Have done repairs and rollbacks with no change insight.
