Plex 1.29.1 wrong file downloaded from plex cdn

Server Version#: irrelevant
Player Version#: irrelevant

When trying to download the latest free bsd server release (1.29.1.6316-f4cdfea9c) from plex, the download link points to: “https://downloads.plex.tv/plex-media-server-new/1.29.1.6316-f4cdfea9c/freebsd/PlexMediaServer-1.29.1.6316-f4cdfea9c-FreeBSD-amd64.tar.bz2
but the file downloded when clicking on the “download” button is named “PlexMediaServer-1.29.1.6316-f4cdfea9c-FreeBSD-amd64.tar” (<- notice: “.tar," not ".tar.bz2”) and can’t be extracted.
It does download the correct file when using the link directly though.
I suppose a cdn issue or wrong link?
Maybe someone from the plex stuff should take a look?
Thanks.

PS
Given that “server-free bsd” tag is missing, post filed under server-linux.

Looks like the same problem with the 1.29.2.6334-817e19b35 (October 24, 2022) download.

I’m getting the .tar file.

I’ll try another post with the drobo.server tag.

In my case, when I renamed downloaded *.tar to *.tar.bz2 it extracted/installed/crc-ed ok, so I suppose it’s just an issue with wrong file extension.
