Drobo downloads page file

The 1.29.2.6334-817e19b35 (October 24, 2022) download is giving me a .tar file and not the .tgz

Tried the tar file but did not update Plex.

Anyone got a fix?

Is that still an issue?
When I download the latest PMS beta from Media Server Downloads | Plex Media Server for Windows, Mac, Linux, FreeBSD and More, it’ll download a .tgz file.

When I select the Drobo option I’m still getting a .tar

Does your browser by chance automatically try to “unzip” the file?
It’s been some time but if I remember correctly, certain platforms will “extract” a .tgz file to a .tar file

Looks like it was chrome doing it. Switched to Firefox and it download the .tgz
