It would be great to see something from the PLEX Team regarding these issues. While I ‘could’ download something else, my entire family and remote controls all know how to use/trigger PLEX with Kodi as-is.
There is no official Plex addon for Kodi.
Is this not an official Plex addon?
You’re probably right. It’s probably another feature that Plex stopped supporting and silently removed from the website. It certainly was once (and is still labelled the Official Plex Add-on on the verified to be owned by Plex github account). I even have emails from Plex announcing it (screenshot from an email from plex.tv in 2017) - with this link included https://www.plex.tv/apps/computer/kodi/?utm_campaign=Roundup+August+2017&utm_content=kodi_button&utm_medium=email&utm_source=Plex:
Funnily enough, I don’t have any emails announcing it’s retirement.

Use the dontpanic repository from pannal - it works pretty much the same.

Thank you for this “Don’t Pannic” backup,
after 10 installations and re-installations since the official I was starting to go crazy not even pass the opening of the extension…
at least this one seems to work.
But problem, my server is not found!
The connection tests have been running in a loop for 24 hours and still nothing despite multiple reboots?
However my server is well accessible from:
-my phone (android PLEX application)
-my freebox revolution (P2F application)
But on Kodi it doesn’t work! (rasbery Pi3B+, libreelec 11.01, Nexus 20.1.0)
It seems i have to wait to update my osmc vero 4k+ device with the june update (02-06-23). Otherwise i will have also kodi 20 and no means to use the plex addon for kodi anymore. I hope someone comes with an updated version of the plex addon for kodi.
