For some reason one of my tv’s Roku) pulls up advertising when I am streaming from my Plex server.
This just started happening about 1 week ago.
Anyone know why this would happen?

Plex is not putting ads in your media, you are inadvertently streaming from Plex’s On Demand service. My post above gives a little more explanation and how to prevent.

One user recently reported ads before their content and were emphatic that they were not using Plex’s own streaming service. It came out a day later that they had enabled “movie trailers” and didn’t know that was why it played a trailer before each movie.
I’d forgotten about that feature, but figured that anyone who turned it on wouldn’t then wonder why there are trailers. I have since remembered to point it out whenever these “ADS!” posts come up.
