When streaming Plex music to my Echo Dot via Alexa — if I open the Alexa app on my mobile phone and click the Play option – it doesn’t show Plex as playing a song — though when I am streaming via other services Radio.com, Amazon Music, Pandora etc — it does show that service and the name of the song currently Playing and I can click and control playback.
Also if you ask Alexa to play a song or playlist via Plex – it doesn’t really know what’s going on - so it can’t replay a song, skip a song etc etc.
Is better Alexa integration going to be added?
Plex Support – how about some feedback on this please!
