Plex amp can’t remove songs or playlist in the app.
The only way to do this is to login into plex and do it there.
It is not possible to do it in plexamp app.

Same here…been using PlexAmp for a few months now and I truly enjoy it.
But an update or something has introduced a bug.
Same issue on Plexamp 3.4 ios and android.
Tried restarting the app and hard reset on device.
I can long press and move songs up and down…but swiping left does not bring up the delete/remove track from playlist option.
This only works in dumb playlists, i.e. those where you add each track one by one, manually.
If your playlist is a smart one, i.e. it was created by a filter, you cannot add or remove individual tracks. You can only edit the filter condition(s).
I thought so too, but no.
I’ve added random unfiltered songs and have the same problem.
And still what if I’ve made a filtered playlist. Does that mean that the normal thing is never being able to delete it?
That sounds to me like a smart playlist.
That was a typo. I was still writing.
I meant not filtered.
For example. I go to artist (no filter settings) pick a song or two and add to a new playlist.
Now I want to remove a song from that playlist. Or I want to remove the playlist all together.
I can’t.
I can’t swipe to the left to delete and I don’t see any remove delete etc function.
You are right. Manipulating playlists is not possible, yet in Plexamp.
You can only manipulate the play queue.
So it is normal that I can’t remove songs?
Right now it is expected. The feature simply hasn’t been added in.
Not true. Before 3.4.0 version it was possible to swipe to remove a song from a playlist. Now you can’t. I would call that a bug.
I miss being able to remove songs because I create playlists of lectures I wish to listen to. Once I listen to a lecture I used to be able to remove it from the playlist so I wouldn’t listen to it again. Now I can’t do that. Makes it difficult to remember where I am in the list of lectures.

This doesn’t work on current Plexamp on Android. Tested two devices. No way to remove songs from regular playlist.
I was able to remove songs from playlist in regular Plex app. Just doesn’t work within Plexamp.
Side suggestion: Probably best to add a “Remove from playlist” option to the songs’ dots menu, as well as swipe. Way more intuitive. My first instinct is to tap the dots to look for the remove option. I also feel like swipe can be done accidentally. Fine for a Now Playing queue, but too easy to inadvertently remove from playlist. Something like that should be more deliberate.

After your post I’ve tested plexamp on multiple android and apple devices and I can delete things from my playlist without any problems. I do believe you that it isn’t working. Hope we can find your problem. Please note that I’m a casual user with too much time on my hands and some technical know how but I’m far from an expert.
First, to delete something from the playlist you need to go to the playlist and swipe left. This is how it works in the app but in the webversion there is a button. You allready mentioned that you’ve tried this but it doesnt hurt to mention this for others.
Second, do you have the latest PLEX server and Plex AMP versions? Because this bug (not able to remove from playlist) was fixed not so long ago.
Third, maybe your PlexAmp app is glitching have you tried reinstalling it?
Fourth, Are you using smart playlist or songs? I dont really know how this works but during my research (researching the same problem) I’ve read that you wont be able to remove songs if the playlist is genereted using a SMART or AI function in Plex. Busically the list isn’t made by you but by plex using your parameters. IF (stressing IF) this is the case I have to refer you to Plex or someone else on this forum.
It’s not much but it’s something right? Atleast you know that the glitch isn’t everywhere.
