So has anyone setup a Amazon Fire Tv to use a Google Home or Amazon dot to control Plex?
I cannot get the voice to work with just the Amazon Fire Tv alone

Not sure about the echo but my dot works for this… still a bit quirky though.
Mine worked great before the Echo debuted in Canada. It seems Plex is unwilling to enable the US skill in Canada despite speaking the same dialect of English. I’m in Southern Ontario, I’m further into the states than some states are.
Wish Plex was available for the Google Home devices. I have Plex working on Alexa, just needed to download the Plex skill and then ask Alexa to change the media player to what you want to use. I use it to play music from my NAS.
