I have noticed since I switched over to Synologu DS 920+ that I am unable to search for an artist on Sonos then go to Plex and play the music. It will say “unable to browse music.” However I can specifically go to the Plex service on Sonos and find the artist or album and it plays as it should. It only has trouble when searching. Any ideas?
I have the same problem. It started a couple of weeks ago although I have only updated software not hardware. I run Plex on QNAP. Sonos browses and plays Plex libraries without problem. When I search Plex artists from Sonos it finds matches but then I get “unable to browse music” when trying to expand the search result. Clearly an introduced bug, Plex is responding differently to Sonos when being asked to show albums for an artist depending on whether the artist was found by browsing or searching. Please fix.
