Plex and SONOS not playing smoothly

Hi all
I am testing to change music playing from my NAS via PLEX (forced due to the upcoming SMB change of Synology DSM7).
Actually I can play my FLAC music smoothly via SONOS.
If I play it via PLEX to my SONOS system it does not play smoothly.
My NAS is a Synology 718+ with additional memory and the SONOS system is mostly connected via LAN.
Any idea how I can solve this issue?
